Shooting at a Barber Shop in Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, New York — December 28, 2019:

At 5:37pm a caller reported one male shot. Aviation and level 1 mobilization was requested. Perp is a m/b in late 30s wearing all black. Units reported perp is a former employee of the barber shop where the incident occurred. Ems reports aided was shot in the right arm. Suspect fled in victims vehicle Ford 150 unknown NJ plates. Possibly living in the Lockman Ave area. The suspects car was located two hours after incident. Where a level one mobilization was called for the shooting suspect who stole the victim’s car a dark Blue Ford 150 with New Jersey Plates H85 KAK. The vehicle was located at Willowbrook Road East and Forest Avenue two hours after the shooting.

Aviation was called by Highway 5 who had visual on the vehicle requesting an ambulance in case of a shoot out with many cars and civilians on Foresr Avenue and aviation to light up Forest Avenue. The suspect was in custody without any shots fired by MOS or the suspect. An evidence search in under way. Multiple roads on Forest Avenue closed for evidence search. K9 being used.
