Protest Outside Jeff Bezos Penthouse Apartment in NYC

NEW YORK, NY — December 2, 2019:

Amazon protest held by Amazon employees and others outside Jeff Bezos $80 million Penthouse in Manhattan, next to Madison Square Park to protest the companies worker policies on Cyber Monday. Protest organizers say the Amazon workers are protesting against harsh working conditions and Amazon’s detrimental impact on the environment and local communities. A group of employees rallied at Amazon’s Staten Island warehouse last week, and on Monday, protesters will march about half a mile through midtown Manhattan to Bezos’ 5th Avenue penthouse. The protest coincides with Cyber Monday, one of biggest sales days of the year for the massive online retailer. There are Amazon protests held all across Europe and the US today. This protest gathered outside the Amazon store on 32nd Street and marched to Jeff Bezos Penthouse location. Demanding change.
