Governor Cuomo snuck into his own birthday party at the Essex House in Midtown to avoid protesters who are demanding that he fulfill his promise to support the Green New Deal. Protesters surrounded the front and rear entrances to the hotel chanting and wearing party hats and blowing whistles and horns. The governor turns 62 on Friday.
