Cyclist Hospitalized after Crash In Astoria

ASTORIA, QUEENS — December 4, 2019:

A cyclist was rushed to the hospital Wednesday morning after a crash in Astoria, according to the FDNY. The crash happened around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of 10th Street and 35th Avenue.

First responders rushed the cyclist to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, initially reported to be in critical condition. Witnesses told us that the victim was a delivery man riding a bike, he got hit by a car that left the scene, she said he appeared to be dead. NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad arrived on the scene but left soon after without concluding a full investigation.
